Cookie Policy

The cookies and similar technologies used on this website, what they are for, and how you can change your preferences at any time.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, can also store information on your device. Together they allow a website to function, to remember choices you have made, and, where you allow it, to measure how the site is used.

This policy explains which of these technologies the Fabu Group website uses, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Categories we use

Necessary: strictly required for the website to work, including page delivery, security, and the operation of our candidate registration, client enquiry and contact forms. These do not require your consent.

Analytics: optional. Used to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it.

Functional: optional. Used for conveniences such as remembering information you have entered, or content embedded from another service.

Marketing: optional. Used to measure advertising and to tailor messages to you.

3. What is actually in use today

We do not currently run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, advertising or retargeting scripts, social media embeds, maps, video embeds, scheduling widgets or CAPTCHA services on this website.

The only information stored on your device by this website today is a single record of your cookie choice, held in your browser's local storage under the key fabu-cookie-consent. It contains your preference for each optional category and the date you made it, it is not shared with anyone, and it remains until you clear your browser data or change your choice.

Our hosting and backend providers may set strictly necessary cookies or process server logs in order to deliver the site securely. These are not used to track you across other websites.

If we introduce analytics or marketing tools in future, for example Google Analytics or Meta tracking, they will only load after you have given consent for the relevant category, and this policy will be updated to name them, describe their purpose and state how long their cookies last.

4. Consent and how it is applied

When you first visit the website you are shown a cookie notice. Nothing optional is loaded before you make a choice.

Choosing Reject optional means no analytics, functional or marketing technology will be loaded. The website continues to work normally, including all forms.

Choosing Accept all, or enabling individual categories under Manage preferences, permits only the categories you have enabled.

Your choice is saved in your browser, so it is remembered on your next visit. Because it is stored on the device you are using, you may see the notice again on a different device or browser, or after clearing your browser data.

5. Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page.

You can also block or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the website work.

6. How long information is kept

Your cookie preference record has no fixed expiry and remains in your browser until you change it or clear your browser data.

Any cookie set by a future analytics or marketing provider will have its own retention period, which we will state here once such a provider is in use.
