Children: 6 and 8 years old. Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 3:00pm to 8:00pm.
A lovely private family in Wandsworth is looking for a warm, reliable and engaging After-School Nanny to care for their two school-aged children, aged 6 and 8.
The children usually finish school around 3:00pm, although their schedule may vary on days when they have extracurricular activities.
A driver would be highly desirable, as this would make school pick-ups and getting to activities easier, but driving is not essential. The family are happy to consider a nanny who is comfortable using public transport with the children.
The ideal candidate will be warm, responsible, proactive and genuinely enjoy spending time with school-aged children. The family are looking for someone who can confidently manage the afternoon and evening routine while keeping the children engaged and happy.
There may also be opportunities for additional babysitting hours by arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Collecting the children from school and bringing them home
- Taking them to extracurricular activities when required
- Helping with homework and school-related tasks
- Organising fun, age-appropriate games and activities
- Preparing dinner, or reheating a meal prepared by the parents
- Tidying the kitchen and children's areas after dinner
- Helping with bath time and the evening routine
- Supporting the children with their bedtime routine
- Ensuring the children are happy, settled and well cared for until the parents return around 8:00pm
