Domestic Couple

Full-Time | £80,000+ Gross per Year | Separate Accommodation Provided | Start Within the Next Few Months

A lovely family with school-aged children based in the beautiful New Forest is seeking an experienced, reliable and hands-on Domestic Couple to manage the smooth running of their household and assist with the upkeep of their estate.

The role is suited to a proactive couple who enjoy working together, take pride in maintaining a beautiful home and grounds, and are comfortable undertaking a varied range of household and estate duties.

The Lady's Responsibilities

Taking full responsibility for the housekeeping and overall cleanliness of the main house.

Managing all aspects of household cleaning, laundry and general organisation.

Monitoring and ordering household and cleaning supplies.

Keeping the household running smoothly and maintaining high standards throughout.

Preparing simple, home-cooked meals for the family.

Providing occasional assistance with the school-aged children when required.

The Gentleman's Responsibilities

Undertaking driving duties for the family when required.

Carrying out general maintenance and basic handyman duties around the property.

Helping to maintain the estate, keeping outdoor areas tidy and well presented.

Assisting with the daily care of the family's animals.

Previous experience with animals, particularly horses, would be an advantage, although this is not essential.

There is no requirement to train or exercise the animals, as their specialist care is managed separately. General animal care responsibilities are relatively light.

The Ideal Couple

Previous experience working together in a private household or estate environment.

A hands-on, practical and proactive approach to their responsibilities.

High standards of housekeeping and attention to detail.

Comfortable working around animals, with relevant experience being an advantage.

Reliable, discreet, organised and able to work independently.

A genuine interest in maintaining a family home and its surrounding grounds.

Salary: From £80,000 gross per annum, with flexibility for a particularly experienced couple.

Accommodation: A separate, self-contained cottage located within the estate grounds is provided for the couple, offering privacy and independence from the main family residence. All utility bills are included.

Location: New Forest

Start Date: Within the next few months, flexible for the right couple.
