A lovely family based in Chelsea, London, is seeking an experienced, responsible and organised Driving After-School Nanny to care for their two children, aged 10 and 13.
Both children have busy after-school schedules, including various activities and commitments, so the family is looking for a confident driver who can manage school collections, transport the children to their activities and provide reliable support throughout the afternoons and evenings.
The children attend school in Marylebone, so the role will involve regular driving between school, the family home and after-school activities.
Key Responsibilities
Collecting the children from school in Marylebone.
Driving the children to and from their various after-school activities and appointments.
Managing and coordinating the children's busy afternoon schedules.
Providing attentive and responsible care throughout the afternoon and evening.
Preparing or organising simple meals and snacks for the children.
Supporting homework and school-related routines when required.
Ensuring the children are organised and ready for the following school day.
Keeping the children's belongings and areas tidy and organised.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as an after-school nanny or in a similar childcare role.
A confident and safe driver with a full, clean UK driving licence.
Comfortable driving regularly around London.
Highly organised, reliable and proactive.
Warm, responsible and able to build a good relationship with school-aged children.
Flexible and happy to accommodate changes to the children's schedules.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Friday: 3:00 PM to approximately 6:00 PM, as the family leaves for their countryside home.
Salary: £25–£30 gross per hour, depending on experience.
Location: Chelsea, London (children attend school in Marylebone).
Start Date: Flexible for the right candidate.
