Housekeeper/Cook
An experienced and highly professional housekeeper with some cooking duties for a family of four in a large six-storey Belgravia home.

Working days: Tuesday to Saturday. Hours: 10:00am to 6:00pm.
A private family of four based in Belgravia, London is seeking an experienced and highly professional Housekeeper with some cooking duties to join their household.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall housekeeping of a large six-storey home, together with some simple cooking and household errands.
The family keeps a kosher household, so previous experience with kosher culture, food preparation or kosher cooking would be highly desirable.
The Family: the family consists of two adults and two children and also has a small dog. The successful candidate must be comfortable around dogs.
Flexibility and Travel: flexibility is important as the family may occasionally require additional hours outside the regular schedule. The family may also travel during the summer, including to the South of France, and the successful candidate should ideally be willing to travel with the family when required at times.
This is a live-out position, but flexibility around working hours and travel will be an important part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping and detailed cleaning
- Laundry, ironing and clothing care
- Maintaining the home to an exceptionally high standard
- Grocery shopping and household errands
- Monitoring and replenishing household stock and supplies
- Simple cooking approximately 2 to 3 times per week
- Cooking from recipes provided by the family
- General kitchen upkeep following the family's requirements
Requirements
- Experienced working for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWI)
- Experienced in private households with very high standards
- Ideally has 3 to 4+ years of longevity with previous employers
- Fit, energetic and comfortable working in a large six-storey property
- Naturally proactive and able to think for themselves
- Able to anticipate the needs of the household without always being instructed
- Exceptionally professional, respectful and polite
- Discreet, trustworthy and reliable
- Flexible and adaptable
- Comfortable working as part of a household team while also being able to work independently
