Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Household: family of four.
A private family based in Marylebone is seeking an experienced, organised, and reliable Housekeeper / Cook to maintain their home to a high standard and assist with the family's daily meal preparation.
The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping a home clean, tidy, and well organised, while also enjoying preparing fresh, healthy, family-style meals. The family is looking for someone proactive, trustworthy, and attentive to detail who can work independently and contribute to the smooth running of the household.
The successful candidate will be meticulous, dependable, and comfortable combining housekeeping with everyday cooking. They should enjoy maintaining a well-presented home and preparing nutritious meals that suit the family's lifestyle.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
- Daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
- Laundry, ironing, and care of clothing and household linens
- Making beds and maintaining bedrooms and bathrooms
- Keeping the kitchen and living areas clean, tidy, and organised
- Organising cupboards, wardrobes, and household storage as required
- Monitoring household supplies and replenishing stock when necessary
- Assisting with breakfast preparation and keeping the kitchen organised
- Preparing healthy, fresh, family-style dinners approximately three times per week
- Planning simple, balanced meals suitable for the family
- Grocery shopping and keeping track of ingredients and kitchen supplies, as required
- Ensuring the kitchen is left clean and tidy after meal preparation
Requirements
- Previous experience as a housekeeper, ideally within a private household
- Confidence preparing healthy, home-cooked family meals
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive, reliable, and independent approach to work
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
- Excellent references from previous employers
- The right to work in the UK
