Housekeeper / Cook

Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM | £20–£25 Gross per Hour, Depending on Experience | Flexible Start Date

A lovely family of five based in St John's Wood, London, is seeking an experienced, organised and reliable Housekeeper / Cook to take responsibility for the smooth running of their household.

The family has teenage children and is looking for someone who can maintain excellent housekeeping standards while preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the family.

Key Responsibilities

Taking full responsibility for the daily housekeeping and cleanliness of the home.

Maintaining high standards throughout the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.

Managing laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation.

Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked.

Planning and preparing fresh, healthy, home-cooked meals for the family.

Taking care of grocery shopping and household supplies.

Ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently.

Providing occasional additional support during family gatherings or when the family is hosting guests.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working as a Housekeeper / Cook in a private household.

Confident preparing healthy, balanced and varied meals.

Highly organised, proactive and attentive to detail.

Able to work independently and manage household responsibilities without supervision.

Flexible and willing to occasionally work additional hours, including weekends, when the family is hosting parties or events.

Reliable, discreet and professional, with a positive attitude.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week).

Salary: £20–£25 gross per hour, depending on experience.

Location: St John's Wood, London.

Start Date: Flexible. The family is happy to consider someone available immediately or from January.
