A warm and welcoming family in Lincolnshire is looking for a caring, experienced and long-term Live-In Nanny Housekeeper to join their household.

The family has four children, with the two teenagers being largely independent. The main focus will be the two toddler-age children, working closely alongside Mum and sharing the childcare.

The family follows a Montessori-inspired approach and would love someone who is either already interested in Montessori or keen to learn and be guided by Mum.

This is a genuine teamwork role, including childcare, preparing meals, helping with the household and occasionally cooking or assisting Mum with cooking.

The housekeeping element is flexible. The family are happy to employ a separate cleaner for deeper cleaning if the successful candidate would prefer to focus primarily on childcare and lighter household duties. Alternatively, someone who enjoys housekeeping can take on more responsibility for the home.

The family's current Nanny is retiring after many years with them, so they are happy to wait for the right person and would ideally arrange a handover period.

Responsibilities

  • Caring for the two younger children alongside Mum
  • Supporting their routines, development and activities
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Following a Montessori-inspired approach
  • Light household organisation, laundry and tidying
  • Cooking or assisting with family meals when required
  • Travelling with the family throughout Europe
  • Occasional support with the older children when needed

Requirements

  • Warm, nurturing and flexible, and genuinely enjoys becoming part of a family
  • Hoping to stay for several years and grow with the children
  • Strong toddler experience
  • Confident in English
  • Comfortable travelling
  • Ideally an interest in children's education and Montessori

Benefits

  • 28 days paid holiday per year
  • Private loft bedroom within the family home
  • All food provided
  • Extensive European travel
