Full-Time Live-In Nanny

Children: two children, aged 2 and 5. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 7:00pm, with some additional babysitting. Travel: the family travels during the summer; willingness to travel is desirable but not essential.
A warm, experienced and professional Nanny is sought for a lovely private family based in Notting Hill, caring for two children aged 2 and 5.
The family are looking for someone nurturing, reliable and engaging who can become a trusted long-term member of the household and provide excellent care for both children.
The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 7:00pm, with some additional babysitting required from time to time.
Travel: the family regularly travels during the summer and would ideally like their Nanny to accompany them, although international travel is not essential for the right candidate.
Separate accommodation is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nanny looking for a long-term position with a lovely private family in Notting Hill.
The family are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive and nurturing care for two children aged 2 and 5
- Managing the children's daily routines, including mornings, meals, activities and bedtime preparation
- Organising age-appropriate educational, creative and outdoor activities
- Taking the children to school, nursery, activities and appointments as required
- Supporting the children's development, independence and social skills
- Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Keeping the children's areas, toys and belongings organised
- Arranging playdates and outings
- Communicating openly with the parents regarding the children's routines and development
- Providing occasional evening babysitting
- Supporting the family during travel when required
Requirements
- Previous professional experience caring for young children, ideally including toddlers and school-aged children
- Warm, nurturing and genuinely caring personality
- Excellent understanding of child development
- Energetic and proactive approach
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication and teamwork
- Professional, discreet and reliable manner
- Flexibility to provide occasional additional babysitting
- Willingness to travel is desirable but not essential
