A lovely expat family is seeking an experienced, professional and native English-speaking Rota Nanny to join their supportive team within a fully staffed private household.
The role involves caring for two school-aged children, a 12-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy. Both children attend school, and the successful candidate will work closely with the existing nanny to ensure consistency, continuity and a positive family environment.
Working Arrangement
Rotation: 21 days on / 21 days off
Salary: £4,500–£5,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience
Children: Girl aged 12 and boy aged 6
Travel: International travel with the family during school holidays
Household: Fully staffed, with a dedicated chef
Location: Dubai, UAE
Start Date: As soon as possible
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Rota Nanny seeking a long-term position with a lovely international family in a fully staffed and supportive household.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the existing nanny to maintain smooth continuity of care.
- Plan and organise engaging, educational, creative and enjoyable activities tailored to the children's ages and interests.
- Foster a warm, nurturing and positive environment that supports the children's development and independence.
- Manage the children's wardrobes, including ironing and organisation.
- Prepare nutritious snack boxes for school. A dedicated chef prepares the family's breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Manage school drop-offs and pick-ups and transport the children to extracurricular activities.
- Provide both sole-charge and shared-charge care, working closely with the mother, who is actively involved in the children's daily routines.
- Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with other household staff.
- Provide 24-hour availability during on-duty periods, with appropriate daily breaks and downtime.
- Accompany the family on international travel during school holidays.
Requirements
- Native English speaker with excellent communication skills.
- Experienced nanny with a strong background in caring for school-aged children.
- Warm, engaging and proactive, with the ability to create age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
- Organised and adaptable, with strong time-management skills.
- A collaborative team player who can also confidently manage sole-charge responsibilities.
- Professional, discreet and respectful of family privacy.
- Flexible and comfortable with international travel and the demands of a rota position.
