Chauffeurs and drivers for private families, principals, family offices and businesses, in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Chauffeurs & Drivers with Fabu Group: Classic car parked on gravel beside a stone entrance at dusk

Overview

A chauffeur is trusted with the family's time, safety and privacy. The best are anticipatory rather than reactive: routes planned, timings honoured, the car immaculate, the conversation offered only when it is wanted.

We place private chauffeurs, family and school-run drivers, executive drivers for businesses and family offices, and security-trained chauffeurs for principals with a higher protection requirement.

Roles We Recruit

  • Private chauffeurs
  • Family drivers
  • Executive drivers
  • Personal drivers
  • Multi-skilled drivers

  • Managing insurance, tax, MOT records and the garage schedule
  • School runs and children's activities, where a DBS check applies
  • Discreet errands, deliveries and light household or office support
  • Defensive and secure driving where the role requires it

Working Arrangements

Full-time chauffeur roles commonly run to around 45 to 55 hours across five days, with flexibility for early departures and late returns.

Rota, split-shift and on-call patterns are usual in busy households, and part-time or school-run only positions are frequently arranged.

Temporary, seasonal and travelling assignments are available, with terms confirmed in writing before the placement begins.

Salary Guidance

As indicative guidance, experienced private chauffeurs in the UK commonly range from £40,000 to £65,000 gross per annum, with security-trained and senior travelling roles above this. Part-time and temporary drivers are usually engaged at an hourly or daily rate.
