Our Services
Nurseries & Schools
Recruitment and staffing for nurseries, early-years settings and private schools, from practitioners to managers and support teams.

Overview
Nurseries and schools live or fail by their people. Ratios must be met, safeguarding must be beyond question, and children respond to consistency, so a settled team matters more than a full one.
We recruit for independent nurseries, nursery groups, early-years settings and private schools, covering permanent appointments, maternity cover and temporary support. Our childcare network gives us reach into practitioners who are qualified, checked and genuinely suited to a group setting rather than only to a private family.
Roles We Recruit
- Nursery practitioners
- Room leaders
- Nursery managers and deputy managers
- Early-years educators
- Teaching and classroom support staff
- School administrators and office staff
- Site, catering and housekeeping staff within educational settings
Typical Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering early-years activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Observation, assessment and record keeping for each key child
- Safeguarding, ratios, risk assessment and daily health and safety checks
- Settling new children and building relationships with parents and carers
- Room leadership, staff supervision, rotas and inductions
- Managing occupancy, compliance, inspections and policy for senior roles
- Classroom, administrative, catering and housekeeping support within the setting
Working Arrangements
Nursery roles are commonly full-time across the setting's opening hours, frequently on early and late shift patterns of around 40 hours per week.
Term-time only, part-time and job-share arrangements are widely available in schools and some nursery groups.
Temporary, supply and fixed-term cover for illness, maternity leave and inspection periods can be arranged at short notice.
Salary Guidance
As indicative guidance, qualified nursery practitioners in the UK commonly range from £24,000 to £32,000 gross per annum, room leaders from £28,000 to £36,000, and nursery managers from £35,000 to £55,000 depending on setting size and location. School support and administrative roles vary widely by responsibility and term-time patterns.
